On Thursday 25th September, Toro Puro hosted a sold-out cigar and cognac tasting event in Cardiff, bringing together aficionados and newcomers for an evening centred around ritual, flavour and connection. Held at Matisse, one of the city’s most elegant venues, this was more than just a gathering. It was the kind of moment that defines what Toro Puro is all about.

This wasn’t just an event for cigar lovers. It was a gathering of people who appreciate presence, detail and great conversation. Some came alone, others in pairs or groups — but by the end of the evening, everyone was connected by the ritual.
It was incredible to see strangers become friends, stories exchanged over smoke and good drink. These are the kinds of moments that can’t be scripted.
