Davidoff Dominicana 2014 Toro is a 6" x 54 toro, medium to full strength cigar handmade at the Cigars of Davidoff factory in the Dominican Republic from tobacco harvested in 2014 and matured for six years, with a filler blend of Corojo 99 Seco, Piloto Viso, San Vicente Mejorado Seco, San Vicente Seco and Yamasá Viso. It sits under a Dominican Hybrid 257 wrapper with an Ecuadorian Hybrid 151 binder, running about one hour and 45 minutes.
It opens with confident black pepper, oak and fresh spice, rounding into deep creaminess, leather and dark chocolate through the middle, before finishing long and clean with dried fruit character. It is an excellent choice for smokers who appreciate well-aged tobacco and a full-bodied cigar that stays elegant rather than aggressive.
