Simon Beltre CSZ Toro began as a dream of Master Blender Victor Infantes, brought to life in a generous 6" x 56 Toro. Built on an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with Dominican binder and filler, it burns evenly at medium strength across a smoke of around 80 minutes.

It opens with cocoa and coffee, developing into roasted nuts and leather as the smoke draws on, before closing on a smooth, long finish carried by dense white smoke. It is for the smoker with time to spare, an easy, dependable cigar suited to a regular evening rather than rushing.

An absolute hidden gem for the humidor.

I went out on a limb ordering the Simon Beltre CSZ, and I am so glad I did. From the first light, this cigar offers an incredibly smooth draw with thick, creamy smoke. The flavor profile is complex but not overpowering. I'm picking up notes of cedar, toasted almonds, and a hint of natural sweetness on the retrohale. The burn line was razor-sharp all the way down, and the ash held firm for over an inch. For this price point, the construction and flavor profile punch way above their weight class. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a well-balanced, medium-bodied smoke.
