Foundation The Upsetters Ska is a 4" x 32 cigarillo, light to medium strength cigar handmade in Nicaragua by Nicholas Melillo, with Nicaraguan long-filler and a Nicaraguan binder, sold as a box of 10. It sits under a USA-grown Connecticut Shade wrapper, running about 30 minutes.

It opens with toast and earth before citrus and gentle pepper spice come through, closing on honey and sweet tea sweetness, the same rebel Jamaican blend character as the Small Axe in a shorter format. It is a quick, characterful smoke for when time is tight.

Appearance: Golden Connecticut Shade wrapper, smooth and lightly veined, wrapped around a slim, compact Cigarillo.

Cold aroma: Light toast and a faint citrus brightness.

First third: Toast and earth lead the opening draw, grounding the blend as the Jamaican Cow Tongue filler makes itself known.

Mid-third: Citrus lifts through the centre alongside a gentle thread of pepper, keeping the profile lively without losing balance.

Final third: Honey and sweet tea round the finish, softening the smoke into something warm and harmonious.
