The Sancho Panza Valientes is the latest Edición Regional for Switzerland by Habanos S.A. This robusto extra pays tribute to the brave characters of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza.

With production limited to 6,000 boxes of 10 cigars each, the Valientes shares its size with renowned counterparts like the Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills and the Hoyo de Monterrey Grand Epicure Edición Limitada 2013.

In the first third, the Valientes Edición Regional Suiza 2017 offers a blend of salted peanuts and dark chocolate, accompanied by creamy cedar, hay, leather, and espresso notes. The finish features distinct lemongrass and butterscotch sweetness on the retrohale. Construction is solid with an excellent draw and burn.

Moving into the second third, the cigar maintains its salted peanuts and dark chocolate profile, with notable butterscotch sweetness and lemongrass accents. Additional flavors of cinnamon, leather, espresso beans, hay, and earth emerge, though a minor burn issue requires a touch-up.

In the final third, the flavor profile remains consistent with salted peanuts and dark chocolate, accompanied by lingering lemongrass and subtle butterscotch sweetness. The draw remains excellent, the burn evens out, and smoke production remains high. Overall strength approaches medium by the end.
