The Café line is one of Tatuaje’s best expressions of Cuban-inspired style delivered with modern Nicaraguan confidence. Rolled at My Father Cigars in Estelí under the Garcia family’s watch, the Café No. 7 gives you that signature Tatuaje depth in a format that still feels composed and complete.

An Ecuadorian Habano wrapper sets the tone with a richer aroma and a darker, more savoury character from the first draw. Underneath, Nicaraguan binder and filler provide the backbone, building from medium into medium-full strength with a steady, measured pace.

Expect earth and seasoned wood early on, followed by leather, warm spice, and a hickory-like toast as the cigar opens up. There’s also a subtle dark-fruit note around the pre-light and into the first third that adds lift and polish to the heavier flavours. The final third tends to deepen and concentrate, delivering a long, warm finish without losing balance.

Appearance: Dark, handsome Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a light oil sheen. Firm pack, tidy finish.

Cold aroma: Leather, cedar, a touch of plum-like dark fruit, and warm spice.

Cold draw: Seasoned wood, earth, cocoa skin, and a gentle sweetness.

First third
Opens with earth and seasoned wood, quickly joined by a clean leather note. Retrohale carries warm spice (more cinnamon/pepper warmth than sharp heat). The smoke feels rounded, with a subtle dark-fruit lift at the edge.

Second third
The profile becomes more structured and savoury. Leather and wood lead, with hickory-like toast building underneath. Spice stays present but controlled. This is where the cigar feels most “Café”: deeper, roasted, and aromatic without getting heavy.

Final third
Toast deepens and the earth note becomes more pronounced. The spice turns warmer and slightly darker, and the finish lengthens with a lingering wood, leather, and toasted aftertaste. Best smoked slowly here to keep it smooth.
